How to mute games

Under accessibility, there should be a voice chat option to toggle on and off You should be able to disable chat outside of the game. On Xbox, I normally just go into a party by myself if I don't want to hear anyone else, but many games offer ways to mute specific players as well.

Have you tried going into a party by yourself? Also, I was able to find the documentation for chat here. Do you mean an in game chat option in the Madden settings? As far as creating a child account goes, that may prohibit you from playing multiplayer games.

No guides used Emulators: lr-fceumm for nes ; lr-stella for atari. Just need to know how to mute the game and not the system. The only option I have available is when I hit start, a white menu comes up and under 'Sound Settings' there is a mute.

I don't know of any other way under Retropie to stop the games sound. It looks like Stella has a '-mute' option, but I don't see where I can add this to? Yonut said in How to mute game sound only. Ronnie Vernon. Hi Muting individual apps would normally be an option in the app. I don't know of any way to do this with individual monitors?
