How to mute games

Under accessibility, there should be a voice chat option to toggle on and off You should be able to disable chat outside of the game. On Xbox, I normally just go into a party by myself if I don't want to hear anyone else, but many games offer ways to mute specific players as well.

Have you tried going into a party by yourself? Also, I was able to find the documentation for chat here. Do you mean an in game chat option in the Madden settings? As far as creating a child account goes, that may prohibit you from playing multiplayer games.

See details Show less. Turn on suggestions. It seems that muting feature of Retropie mutes the whole system, not just the game. Yonut How are you muting? Which Emulator? No guides used Emulators: lr-fceumm for nes ; lr-stella for atari. Just need to know how to mute the game and not the system. The only option I have available is when I hit start, a white menu comes up and under 'Sound Settings' there is a mute.

I don't know of any other way under Retropie to stop the games sound. It looks like Stella has a '-mute' option, but I don't see where I can add this to? Yonut said in How to mute game sound only. Ronnie Vernon. Hi Muting individual apps would normally be an option in the app. I don't know of any way to do this with individual monitors?
