I too will be boycotting Sony and encouraging others to do so too. So at least I will end up costing this backstabbing company a couple of thousands of dollars. Thats all part of their backstabbing moneymaking equation, but at least I can protect myself and friends from a company that sells you something then removes it via a firmware update.
Good luck with all of your financial losses Sony. You deserve to go bankrupt. Thats what happens when you piss off your customers. Advertised at trade shows and and computing events if you are attending those and interested in those features you purchased it as an investment in cheap computing hardware not as a gaming system. So dont update it the update is optional. It is an optional update after all.
